Day School

We primarily run a cozy daycare school for children with autism centered around nurturing activities for daily living in the natural setting. We are committed to extending the best possible ambiance to cater to the unique needs of each child with autism blended with a range of interventions. The school runs from 9 am to 3:30 pm from Sunday to Friday. The school remains closed on the last Sundays of Nepali month, including official government holidays. At the school, we provide healthy lunches based on a weekly menu that brings different combinations of foods for each day and snacks twice a day.

Family Counseling

We believe a successful journey toward meaningful autism care starts with sound family counseling designed to serve the needs of each family with an authentic child. Our experiences say that such counseling provided by professionals can be instrumental for the parents not only in imparting authentic information related to autism, weighing available options in managing an autistic child, but also in making informed decisions for the betterment of the child. We periodically bring all parents together in a forum where they share experiences and learnings in managing children with autism.

Occupational Therapy

In our recipe for occupational therapy (OT), we aim to offer a set of skills that will ultimately lead an autistic child to a less-dependent lifestyle and play an appropriate expected role as a family member. For that, we bring a unique occupational therapy that brings a mix of plays, academic and learning skills, self-care skills, food management and eating, sleeping habits, and other tailored activities. Experiments show that children. Thus, we offer the best possible therapy care tailored to the needs of children with autism that each child may need to achieve targeted growth and development systematically.

Who WE ARE

Autism Home Nepal is a cozy and relatively young autism care center that has been in operation for over a year. It is a private for-profit entity committed to providing the utmost care to autistic children to ensure that they are able to have a manageable lifestyle. It aims to bring together experienced, dedicated, and like-minded professionals to innovate and improve the care available to children and families living with autism through a mix of early intervention and Occupational Therapy (OT) in natural settings. The ultimate goal of all these is to support children with autism to achieve less dependent, and meaningful livelihoods.
